Experience southern California's surf culture, observe dozens of species of marine animals, and visit 5 different marine environments: sandy beach, rocky reefs, sea cliffs, kelp forest, and deepwater canyons - each hosting its own unique flora and fauna. Because these habitats all collide within 2 square miles, the abundance and diversity of wildlife are unparalleled anywhere on the California coast except Monterey. Come see the Sea Lions, Leopard Sharks, Pelicans, Cormorants... and of course, the Caves!
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children under 14 must be on a tandem kayak with an adult.
You will get wet! Please bring a change of clothes for after your adventure. Please leave car keys, cell phones, cameras, and any other valuables in our complimentary lockers.

  • Staff will orient you and your crew about the danger zones and off-limits area
  • Kayakers are not permitted to enter caves.

    Policies & Agreements

    • Restrictions for Age, Weight, Ability

      All Participants Must:
      • Be at least 10 years old (Minors must be accompanied by an adult; minors under 14 must kayak tandem with an adult).
      • Not exceed the weight limits of the kayak (450lbs for solo or combined tandem weight).
      • Breathe independently (i.e., not require medical devices to sustain breathing).
      • Independently maintain sealed airway passages while underwater or awash in the surf.
      • Independently hold torso, neck, and head upright and balanced with no more than 14” of lower back support and optional adaptive equipment to support the thighs in existing sea and surf conditions.
      • Manage personal care independently, or with the assistance of a companion.
      • Manage personal mobility independently, or with a reasonable amount of assistance.
      • Follow written/visual or spoken instructions and effectively communicate in writing or orally either independently or with the assistance of a companion.

    • Late Return Policy

      Rental equipment that is not returned on time will incur an additional 24-hour rental fee.  For each additional 24 hour period, it is late another full day's rental fee will be charged up to 10 days until the full price of replacing the equipment has been reached.

    • Rental Responsibility

      I accept full responsibility for all rented items. I agree to pay for any damage to the items and replace the item at the full retail value if damaged to such an extent that repairs are not feasible or practical.

      I assume total responsibility for the safekeeping of the rented items. If any item is lost or stolen, I agree to pay the full retail value to replace the item.

    • Cancellation, Payment and Refund Policies

      Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. Please notify us if you need to cancel or reschedule.
      • No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of departure.
      • Cancellations within 30 days to 48 hours before departure are subject to a cancellation fee of $10 per person, per activity.
      • If we cancel any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
