Guided Tour Information
Our staff will orient renters to the area and you will be given a map that indicates danger zones and areas that are off limits to kayakers.
Kayakers are not permitted to enter the caves. Lifeguards enforce this rule and may issue tickets.
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children under 14 must be on a tandem kayak with an adult.
You will get wet! Please bring a change of clothes for after your adventure.
Anything you take with you will get wet so please leave car keys, cell phones, cameras, and any other valuables in our complimentary lockers.
Even waterproof electronics may end up on the bottom of the sea if not tethered to you.  If you want to take photos, please plan accordingly.  We have waterproof cases with straps for your cell phone available for purchase for your convenience.
You will be entering the sea where natural dangers exist, but are typically avoided through following your experienced guides instructions.
Experience southern California's surf culture, observe dozens of species of marine animals, and visit 5 different marine environments: sandy beach, rocky reefs, sea cliffs, kelp forest, and deep water canyons - each hosting it's own unique flora and fauna. Because these habitats all collide within 2 square miles, the abundance and diversity of wildlife is unparalleled anywhere on the California coast except Monterey. Come see the Sea Lions, Leopard Sharks, Pelicans, Cormorants... and of course, the Caves! An experienced and knowledgable guide will be with you to ensure you have a great excursion.

  • Participant Requirements

    All participants must:
    • Be at least 10 years old (Minors must be accompanied by an adult; minors under 14 must kayak tandem with an adult)
    • Not exceed the weight limits of the kayak (450lbs for solo or combined tandem weight)
    • Breathe independently (i.e., not require medical devices to sustain breathing)
    • Independently maintain sealed airway passages while under water or awash in surf
    • Independently hold torso, neck and head upright and balanced with no more than 14” of lower back support and optional adaptive equipment to support the thighs in existing sea and surf conditions
    • Manage personal care independently, or with assistance of a companion
    • Manage personal mobility independently, or with a reasonable amount of assistance
    • Follow written/visual or spoken instructions and effectively communicate in writing or orally either independently or with assistance of a companion

  • Guest Responsibilities

    All guests will be required to follow safety policies and procedures as well as instructions from guides and instructors during activities. All guests must meet minimum age requirements at the time of participation. All guests will be required to sign a Liability Waiver  and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation.

  • Cancellation, Payment and Refund Policies

    Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. Please notify us if you need to cancel or reschedule.
    • No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of departure.
    • Cancellations within 30 days to 48 hours before departure are subject to a cancellation fee of $10 per person, per activity.
    • If we cancel any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
