Jump on a ferry to Blue Lagoon Island and raise the roof during this unique up-close encounter with gentle stingrays. During a quick briefing, certified trainers will first teach you about the natural history of the gentle Southern stingray. You will then be able to safely interact with the stingrays on a shallow platform; you will have a chance to feel their silky smooth fins as they glide under your fingertips and you'll even get a chance to feed one if you choose! These graceful animals are fascinating to watch from above the water but even more exciting to see while snorkeling with them! A photographer will be present to capture photos of your experience which can be purchased at the professional photo lab after your program. Get ready to soak up this experience while exploring Blue Lagoon Island!

  • Additional Information

    • Time spent on stingray encounter & snorkel is approximately 1 hour
    • 4-12 years must have an adult as a paid stingray participant
    • 13-17 must have adult with observer or beach day ticket observe from deck during session
    • Guests may not take cameras on to platforms, in water, or on exhibits;
    • Guests may use their own personal mask and snorkel
    • All participants required to wear a life-vest for the snorkeling portion of the program

  • Guest Responsibilities

    All guests will be required to follow safety policies and procedures as well as instructions from guides during activities. Where applicable, all guests must meet age and weight requirements at the time of participation. All guests will be required to sign a Liability Waiver and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation.

  • Minimum Trip Capacity

    We reserve the right to cancel any departure if we have insufficient reservations. We will do all we can to reschedule or accommodate guests reserved on any departure with insufficient reservations. If your departure is cancelled for this reason, a full refund will be provided.

  • Minor Policy

    All minor guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.  Any guest that is 17 and younger traveling without a parent or legal guardian on the requested trip will not be allowed to participate.

  • Cancellation or Change Due to Other Conditions

    If we cancel any charter due to weather, mechanical failure, or unsafe conditions, a full refund will be provided. If a tour departs but is modified or shortened due to weather conditions, refunds will not be provided.

  • Example Policy or Important Note

    You can use this optional area to require a customer to acknowledge that they understand an important policy PRIOR to proceeding with their booking. This is useful for communicating weight requirements, skill level or required certification needs, or critical logistic information.

  • Cancellation, Payment and Refund Policies

    Payment in full is due at the time of reservation. Please notify us if you need to cancel or reschedule.
    • No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of departure.
    • Cancellations within 30 days to 48 hours before departure are subject to a cancellation fee of $10 per person, per activity.
    • If we cancel any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
